Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dr. Azimi completed his residency training at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, affiliated with Michigan State University. He pursued additional expertise in obesity medicine through the Columbia/Cornell Obesity Medicine training program.
